Yes, I think it can absolutely have an effect on a person's behavoir. But of course, that's not to say that it always happens or anything, but it certainly can, and does.
Speaking from my own personal expierences.. I know that whenever I listen to music that is of a more positive nature, and upbeat.. I feel good and cheerful. But if I sit around listening to music that is either all angry and depressing, or sad and whinny.. I definately become less enthused about my day.
It's weird.. but it definately happens.
And of course, the same goes for all entertainment.. Over time, whatever we spend our time listening to/watching is going to have at least some effect on our daily life, whether we notice it or not.

Once a personality is determined, the environment does not choose the occupant but the occupant will determine their environment.
In other words. No, I don't believe the music influences the listener as it is the listener who has chosen the music. Although this is with an adult mind where ones personality is already determined.

Totally. Depending on what I'm doing greatly depends on what I'm listening too.
I had a friend that refused to listen to anything but country when we went hunting, and then listened to Ice-Cube as soon as we got back in town.

I think it can cos USUALLY not always, people who listen to the same music act in the same way-Hip-hop are people who usually dress in a certain way for example and they act in a certain way too but this is obviously not always true!

Generally no. Causally speaking. Rather your behavior, personality, momentary mood influences what kind of music you desire to listen.

IMHO, who you are, your personality, life story, tastes and preferences - in other words, who you are, determine what style of music you listen to, not the other way around, as you seem to suggest.

Try listening to something you dont like for a couple of hours.
Then imagine that you feel calm instead of irritated and cranky.
