phone around all the marinas as in the back of Waterways World or Canal Boat magazines - both avaialble in highstreet newsagents.
residential moorings are few and far between and you will likely pay a rent equivalent to a london 2-bed flat. There is a waiting list of about 2 years. You might fidn the odd boat that comes with a residential mooring.
