Why is when sings/actor are struggling to get herd, but when they make it?

Celebrites seen to get them self mix up with to much drinking, legal and illegal drug which eventually kills them like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe. They are many other clebrities out there as well. Is the pressure to much for them? to much money?

In my opinion, once they get "so big", they get bored, they can have anything they want at the drop of a hat, so, they start doing drugs, and whatever else. Just to see what they can and can't do and get away with.
