I cried on and about 9/11, I'm sure most people did. But a short time later, I lost my 34 year old daughter. There was no warning, it was an aneurism. At that time I wasn't sure I could ever quit crying again, but I have. The deep saddness still lurks every single moment of every day, but once I did stop crying, I haven't cried since, not even when my mother passed away and that was 6 years ago. By comparison of losing your child, nothing seems bad enough to cry about anymore. I feel numb.

Hello!
Yes, it is possible, but there is something holding back your ability to cry. Crying is a natural response we have to different things, happy things, sad things, plus its good for us to cry, gets rid of toxins, releases endorphins, which gives us a good feeling inside and calming affect.
Some Psychiatric med's can make it almost impossible to cry. But then the other reason is usually Psychological. The car accident and nearly losing your Dad could be the reason. You could have gone into shock. Combined with the terrifying fear over your dad's condition.
I would suggest a few sessions of therapy. Might help you get to the bottom of the crying block.
I hope this helped.
Good Luck! :)

Na ah! No, no! Unless u're a cold-blooded creature! Just kidding! I guess it's just that ur past kinda make u more brave to face a lot more challenging things in life. Also, it could be that u're trying so hard to hold back ur feelings coz u just don't want to relive the bad accidents that happened before. Whatever it is, to each his own. U might want to ask ur family doc.

No, you are just blocking & protecting your feelings. You're not allowing yourself to be in the moment. But, yes there will be a time when u will cry again & the next time u cry it's going to be real emotional. For the simple fact u held back for so long and all feelings are going to come out. and you're going to feel weird but you'd feel better inside.

A traumatic event can make it impossible to cry even when you physically feel the need to do so. It can really mess up your life and your head emotionally. It often begins with an event so shocking our mind rejects it. I know someone who saw his parents killed when he was 16. He couldn't cry. He finally went to a counselor about 20 years later and got help pretty rapidly.

It's natural for the human body to need to express grief in some sort of way. You can't stop it.

If you reason everytime like in logic, you can stop crying. You have to practice stoicism.
