Unrequited love is a blessing for one to receive. Once the receiver abuses it, it becomes a curse to the one who gives it.

Look at where you stand and where the person offering the love stands.... if it can work for both of you then it is a real blessing....

... if for either of you it can not work then talk openly about it, get a closure that respects the feelings and lives of both and it shall then also be a blessing to walk each in his/her seperate way.

Unconditional love...
Always a blessing...
Only, the person who loves enjoys it better(the blessing, irrespective of material gain/loss).

For me, unrequired love is a curse to the person who loves another person in which that another person does not love the person that loves him/her but unrequired love is a blessing to the person who is being loved by the person that he/she doesn't love.
