i am doing an assignment on "influence of mathematics on computer science"but don't know where to get information . i tried in genral search at yahoo but could not find a proper result

I suggest doing a search on the topic of "Boolean Algebra" for information on the influence of mathmetics for computer science related to the 1950's and 1960's.

This is kind of a radical idea, but if you do it, it's sure to impress your teacher.
There is a class taught at MIT called "Mathmatics for Computer Science"
Why don't you give the professor of this class a call or email him!!! He can give you some good ideas and point you in the right direction, plus he may be very flattered.
