I would suggest you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_Science as a beginning for you seach. You will find some foundations for that in this article.

I suggest doing a search on the topic of "Boolean Algebra" for information on the influence of mathmetics for computer science related to the 1950's and 1960's.

This is kind of a radical idea, but if you do it, it's sure to impress your teacher.
There is a class taught at MIT called "Mathmatics for Computer Science"
Why don't you give the professor of this class a call or email him!!! He can give you some good ideas and point you in the right direction, plus he may be very flattered.

Refer to any University around you....
Meet with the Dean...
Explain your problem.....
He / She will usher you to Math Dept. Head, and if not go seeking him yourself...and explain the situation....They would love it...
Someone will end up giving you a hint on an article written sometime somewhere, or could provide u with the right Site / Topic...
Good Luck
