I'm not English. And I'm working on a project about that, so I just want general ideas about an English private high school and an English state high school.

my son went to a state school there were over 30 children in a class .He has dyslexia , the school had no time for him or any teachers qualified to help him . I went to the education board and was told there was no money to get hi any help. which is not good enough seeing 1 in 5 children have some form of dyslexia . At 8yr old he could not read anything . I removed him from his school and home schooled him for a while . After a year of fighting the government we got him a place in a private school which the government pay for. He loves it , and now loves reading and writing hes 12yr now.

English State school is a process by which you are fed all the reasons not to study. Likely as not, you will finish up unable to read properly.

You will be able to read since the owners of the S*n newspaper has a vested interest in keeping its readers. (target reading age is 6)

Private schools are those run by teachers that didn't make the grade in state schools. In addition to the education you get, they also bankrupt your parents.

my sons go to an inner city state school and love it. they get amazing opportunities they've travelled all over the UK been on courses they g the theatre, exhibitions, music. they have clubs of every kind. music of every kind and have friends from every culture and class. they feel safe and listened to as it has a brill student council and the teachers are very approachable.
friends kids go private they do exactly the same work as mine but as homework god knows what they do during the day! 2 to 3 hrs every night. mine do 45 minutes!

private will obviously be expensive, but have fewer children, and the state ones are free and will have more kids per class, depends what area you live in as to whether you have a good state school or a bad one! inner london ones are often bad! what area??
