WHy is he saying wait, does he believe he isn't ready or that you aren't ready. If hes puttin git off cause he doesn't want to get married you need to examine the relationship and decide what is really important to you cause chances are if he doesn't want to get married now or in the future he won't change his mind that being said you can't expect him to jump into marriage after say six months of dating but if its been two or three years then you have to ask yourself why not and also examine why you want to get married

The very first time he told you to wait - I'd have waited for a year. More than that, you can be quite sure he's NOT ready and may never be. Better just dump him now or you might keep waiting on the never never basis. Am sure you can find someone else better soon enough. At least be glad he didn't get into marriage prematurely (to 'please' you), and then dump you after a while.

Clearly he is not currently the marrying type. You can either wait an undetermined amount of time and hope he changes while you are still able to walk without assistance, or you can move on and find a guy ready for a serious relationship.

He should have at least given you a timeframe on when he would be ready but if he asked you to wait (indefinetely), then i guess it's time to reassess your relationship. Until when are you willing to wait? How much do u love him? Why is he not ready to settle down yet? It's still your choice whether to stay or go. If you should stay, at least make yourself grow and develop other areas in your life. Do not make him the center of your world.

Walk away. Tell him that you are tired of waiting for him to be "ready" and that you are going to look elsewhere before you are too old to have kids and such. If he loves you he will come and get you and Marry you if not then you know where you stand.

maybe you should wait. maybe he isn't ready for the commitment yet or maybe hes looking for a really good way to propose. be honest with him and tell him you really want to get married and ask him why he wants to wait. if hes not sure about your relationship and if it will last you might have to leave till hes sure of what he wants.

If you really love him then you wait, maybe he is not ready financially or maybe for the responsibility. Take him somewhere where you guys can really talk and ask him where's the relationship is heading to. Whatever is his answer, it is all up to you to weigh it then.

I was anxious. I got the "let's wait" treatment. I waited, very impatiently. And guess what? Because the love was real, I waited. We live happily ever after. Been several years now.

just leave him... boys like that cannot be trusted... there must be someone better for u...
u have the right to decide about ur future... he is a boy and can afford to wait... but after reaching a certain age we girls cannot wait anymore... if u r 27 or less u can still wait... but if more than that then i would suggest that u have the right to think about ur marriage very seriously now...gd luck dear...
