what do you think of them? i'm doing another project and i now need to know what people think of pirates?
oh and if you know any information about them that would be really useful

What type of pirates? You mean the sailing the 7 seas type of the sort that copies other peoples software and films. I think the sailing type at least have some degree of courage though they are still violent thieves but the software/film type are basically cowardly thieves.

I like the idea of piratism. Arguably they are the only truely free people that there are in the world. Imagine how it must feel to be outside the law on the high seas being able to go where ever you like, whenever you like! Must be amazing!
Not sure about the killing and robbing though

what the real pirates that kill around the south china seas,
amongst a sea of other seas in that general area
or the pirates of the Carribean ala Johnny depp

from what i hear there are still pirates around today only their contraband now is drugs / money
lots of people have been looted at sea for the possessions we just don't get to hear of it - when we were on holiday in the Caribbean you got to hear quite a few stories
