NO... Now Laxman shouldn't be included for ODI , Slow batting, Lazy running between the wickets, Poor potential & fielding is not suitable for ODI especially for the World Cup.

Now we have Ganguly, Sachin, Dravid & Yuvraj as experienced in top order. In form batsman Karthik & Uthappa can be included. Also Dhoni is later in the order. I believe this is the best line up for India in today's form.

HI Vishvinath........yes off-course he must be back in One day team, he is most reliable batsman after Rahul Dravid. Look at his record at One Dayers

M I NO Runs HS Average
86 83 7 2338 131 30.76

Not a bad record. He must be recalled..

i think Laxman is not sutiable for one day cricket because he plays like a test player and one day Ganguly and Yuvaraj is coming back. too. i think we need laxman in test team and he plays well in test matches
