Good luck... you are one in thousands of people out there looking to "work from home". Unfortunately, most of the interent based websites out there are scams -- they just want your money. If you find a legit site, be sure to let the rest of us know!

Answer: You should stay away from CashCreate, Treasure Trooper and other survey Web sites.

It is a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness.

If you choose to be suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive, free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

A lot of work to collect the "reward payments" that payout is not worth the effort over time. You will need to sign up for many types of offers, most of which require you to use a credit card. You start a week trial service with varies types of businesses or services, such as, an Internet service provider, book club, credit monitoring service, etc. to get your reward. If you don't cancel the trial, you end up being charged for the service and each service has different rules about how and when you can cancel. Very cumbersome!

Since you will need to sign up for at least a dozen offers before you get to $100 in rewards, it's very easy to forget what you have signed up for, or the problems you will have canceling in time to to be charged the full amount. The Cash Create recruiters you see here over exaggerate how much money you can earn because once you've done the high-dollar trials ($8-10 each), you are left with small rewards of a dollar or two. The survey business is not an efficient way to make money and you are more than likely to loose money in the end.

It is true that the Internet is full of scams but there are legitimate home business systems out there. I have been working at home on the Internet for three years and I am making money.

It takes a while to learn but with the right opportunity and the desire to succeed it is definitely a reality.

If you really want to earn extra money try the website below. This is what got me started and I still think it offers the best home business training and support online today.

I mean this in the nicest, most respectful way. Go to your local community college and talk to the admissions and financial aid offices about returning to school. I did, got an associate degree, and I make about 7x the yearly income now that I was 12 years ago. I got grants that I didn't have to pay back, and some of my friends who didn't qualify for grants got very low interest educational loans.

My message is really that YOU CAN DO IT! Don't sit round wishing for a gimmick. Nothing replaces hard application.

You can sell items on Ebay, start a drop shipping business (info is online how to do so and is a good business with no inventory. You could become a realtor or loan officer (that is a great career to do from home and get good money. And the list goes on.....

What skills do you have and what type of work are you looking for.

There are plenty of real options that are not scams. Depending on your skills and type of work you are looking for ebay is a great way to lear the ropes of selling online. If you would rather work for someone else, but on the computer, then it depends on your skills.

I started a home business, I sell rare coins like, franklin half dollars, mercury dimes, roosevelt dimes, kennedy half dollars, peace and morgan dollars. Basically all u.s. coins dated prior to 1964. I often put together complete sets of coins.

I make about $2200 to $2800 net per month selling these coins on various free auction websites. I don't use ebay as they are too expensive with their fees to sellers.

2 years ago I inherited over 950 thousand silver coins dated prior to 1964, i take digital photographs of each individual coin and then list them on the free auction sites. I list about 200 to 250 coins per month.

It's fun and doesn't take much effort. I spend less than 80 hours a month doing this.

I specialize in Morgan, Peace Dollars and the Franklin half dollars. But have sold more than 400 complete to date sets of the statehood quarters in 2006.

It takes awhile to get established, but once you get your auction ratings up and a good reputation with buyers, sales start to take off as they trust you over other sellers.

I don't have to pay taxes on my sales in my state. I have helped others start up doing this, those people buy coins from me and then start listing them on the auction sites. Key to success in this is buy low sell high.

you could sign up to be a model on one of those websites that lets men video chat with girls, if you know what I mean, they pay okay I hear.

similar line, some "cold calling" firms or "call centers" allow you to work from home using your home phone. they are not all "dirty talk" chat lines, you could be selling windows or insurace from your own home, you get paid per call etc.

be aware of ones that promise money that sounds too much, they may be a scam
