wal-mart is cheap and inexpencive: it is not about customers or employees, though they are simply money mongers
nordstrom is more expensiv: they pay their employees better and have some benefits for them, and they do try to assist the customer, they are however arrogant money mongers.

Nordstrom is expensive. Wal-mart is a great store to get everything at a cheap price.

I don't know anything about Nordstrom. Walmart is a very popular store because of product availibility and cost on most things are cheaper than anyone else.

I personally have never been in Nostrums but shop at Wal-Mart all the time yes it is reasonably cheaper than most with all most anything you need including groceries. One stop shop!

Nordstroms is higher end, but a boring as heck store...I call it the morgue...Walmart is cheaper, but love the place, not for clothes no way, but everything else....

Nordstrom- none in my state, so i'm not sure
walmart- average prices, good prices for stuff like shampoo,soap,make up,etc.
