Beauty just like truth is something that most often people do not see, and it is at the same time something that many of us are unable to express. The concepts of beauty are most commonly considered in terms of physical form or structure, and less commonly in terms of function; whereas the fact is that it is function instead of mere outward structure of a thing this is more expressive of its inherent qualities.
We find it easy to please the eyes of a beholder as sights of beauty can have instantaneous magical affects. In this world of fast impressions and quick judgments, we find difficult and time consuming to reach and experience the depths of things, which causes shallowness in our personal view of beauty. Besides, we see all around us people inspired by and portrayed by media marketing campaigns, highly professionally and technically produced, and targeted mercilessly at us - notions of beauty, health and personal excellence that we most avidly or thoughtless buy into as if we are hypnotized.
However, there can be acts of kindness in both forms and actions of beauty. It is a good impression to take when for example we see a persona healthy, decent looking dressed nicely; this can inspire us to do the same; but people most often end up overtly and pompously dressing, or copying each other in trendy fashionable pursuits. Acts of kindness can be acts of beauty when, for example, we treat people right; this can lead people feeling better and valuing themselves more to realise that people can be beautiful in many ways; beauty in form can be seen by eyes but beauty of an act touches everyone’s heart.

I don't know, I can't define anything that is beautiful for me because it's a result of impulsive emotions when you're in awe of something beautiful
with people, it depends on my mood, sometimes I think people are hideous and sometimes I think they're beautiful, but the commercial definition of beauty is about having the fair skin and European look, in every culture, the paler your skin, the prettier you're considered, I think the more you look different than this typical beauty people describe, the better you look and for me, not to sound cheesy, but personality changes the way someone looks a lot, there could be someone really pretty but if their personality is whack, then I see them as less pretty, I also hate it how people wear so much make-up, here, the trend is the straightened hair, so everyone looks like they're wearing wigs and I don't know, everyone looks a lot nicer without make-ep and straightening the hair and stuff, people look like other people and the way you look CAN but not always, be expressive of your personality, but because of this commercial definition of beauty, people try to adopt that look, trying to lose weight also, I don't have anything against Europeans, I really don't but it's been thrown in my face so many times that that's beauty, and that isn't fair because each culture prefers lighter skin, it all depends on the individual though, what appeals to them, to be honest, I never really care about 'beauty' in a person, I do LOVE to find beautiful photos taken by people on deviantart of anything in the world, it's awesome
the world is so beautiful!

Beauty is both a visual and emotional reaction. This being the reason why we have the saying Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I perceive as beautiful be it another human being or an abstract object is highly individualised - you would possibly perceive the person object as OK or even as ugly. In a person I also find it is not always the outside appearance that matters (though that is the first thing that registers) but also their outlook on life and their behaviour towards other people - to me a person has to be balanced - sometimes the most physically unattractive person can be the most beautiful in the room as their personality and warmth causes them to be true beauties

Beauty is a very strange thing, in its many forms it encompasses the infinite, yet escapes the moment. I have seen the most beautiful woman in the world (Helen of Troy) through a blind man's eyes. I believe Cleopatra was beautiful but have never been sure how exactly she looked. It seems history has judged beauty not through any physical apparition but through stories and deeds. Beauty is a story, that once was a fairy tale and which shall be a legend tomorrow.

Well. The beuty is a complex thing. The history lies in OUR history. The people's history. It's all in our genes.
The big eyes we love because they see more widely. The almond-shaped because of their safety from light-hurt. Long legs help move fast and escape danger. Large breast means much milk. And so on...
And what is more interesting is that we often find beautiful those who look just on the contrary of us-that is because the nature have put in us the aim to find the other genes-than a child would have more different abilities.

I believe something is beautiful when the observation of an external object or behaviour provokes a feeling of joy and appreciation in the observer. The sense of some thing's 'rightness' in the world. I also personally believe in the Classical World's attempts to capture beauty, especially in sculpture and pottery; for instance the Praxitelean curve fascinates me. I also want to mention the grace I find in renaissance sculptors such as Tilman Riemenschneider; and painters such as Titian and Tiepolo, whom I believe give strong representations of feminine beauty - admittedly this is only one aspect of the general term which often wrongly is considered synonymous.

It changes day by day, beauty is something I appreciate its not aesthetics, I have known many conventionally attractive people who just appeal to me less and less that's because people cannot hide their character behind a pretty face. Angelina Jolie for example probably is not beautiful To Jennifer Aniston. I may not have appreciated some art or films years ago but I do now and I may not in the future. Things become tainted by time or they may just blossom. Maybe beauty is all about what you feel in a given moment.

it's love
it's how to love , love is a part of beauty
and sometimes beauty is a reason to love
the question that has been a big query in my mind that IS LOVE A PART OF BEAUTY OR BEAUTY IS A PART OF LOVE?!
beauty is how to express what u like too
and it's different from a person to another indeed
there's a beauty that comes for seconds and disappear but it's the best
and this last one i call it beauty of feelings, didnt u ever feel that beauty shock running through ur blood for seconds when some1 tells u someting cute or when u see feelings are around u in the air
beauty is from the outside and the inside
i can see a beautiful garden because it has cute flowers, other sees it beautiful because he/she had cute memories there
i think yahoo answers is very short way to describe beauty!
and that's what i call the beauty of mind's philosophy

Tonight I was out watering my garden. Suddenly, I saw that where I was pointing the hose, there was a little owl sitting on my fence.
Does that work for you? Thing is it was broad daylight and poor little thing was lost.
Much later when one of my dog eventually noticed it was there and got too close - it flew away up into the tree next door!
AND guess what - - - its mate was up there!!! Sounded like a cricket or something - it wasn't going 'Mopoke' as it does in the night! THAT'S BEAUTY FOR ME!
