It is difficult to treat Endometriosis on a compassionate basis, but it can be done to somewhat alleviate at least part of the painful and debilitating symptoms. Diet and nutrition comprises a large part of the approach; avoidance of red meat, high sugars/cholesterols/additives/saturated fats and alcohol has been recommended for women with Endo, along with intake of water and organic juices, Vitamins A, C, E and B, inclusion of herbs such as Burdock root, Red Clover, Pau D'Arco, Yellow Duck, Dandelion root, and Milk Thistle; and a diet high in organic fruits, vegetables, and whole, unprocessed, yeast-free/sugar-free foods and grains. The ERC offers a more in-depth fact sheet with specific guidelines on their website at http://www.endocenter.org. Other preparations said to be helpful for Endo that you can use at home include Blue Cohosh, Cranberry, Plantain, St. John's Wort, Peppermint, Valerian, Dong Quai, False Unicorn, Evening Primrose Oil, Chasteberry/Vitex, Black Cohosh, Uva Ursi, Couchgrass, Red Raspberry, Yam, and White Willow. Acupuncture, pelvic massage, biofeedback, regular exercise, and homeopathic/naturopathic treatments can all be done on an alternative/home basis. Use of a heating pad such as the one designed specifically for women with Endo (http://www.endofemm.com) can also be extremely helpful. Hello! First off, I must say that you can have endometriosis and have little or no symptoms. I was once seeking to get pregnant for three years when finally I had what's referred to as a heterotopic pregnancy (if you have an ectopic and uterine being pregnant whilst). My ectopic used to be unfortuntely discvered late and that i had to have surgical procedure through vertical c-part like reduce. At the same time my OBGYN was doing mysurgery, she learned I had endometriosis. She noticed it along with her own eyes, but it surely was now not established via pathology after surgery. So I stupidly did nothing about it. I didn't be aware of sufficient about it at the time, however sure, laparoscopy IS the only manner that endo will also be identified and diagnosed with accuracy. Whe I informed my new OBGYN about my experience, she used to be convinced that i have endo, and gave me options. She said we would do the lap so she would for certain determine it, I would take start manipulate for three-6 months(to gradual the development and reduce it) before looking to conceive again, and she also will do what's known as a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) wich is a style of x ray making use of a balloon and dye to be certain my fallopian tube is open. I personally determined to take the delivery manipulate approach. However i am satisfied bc of my historical past that I do have it. Anyway, sorry so long, however I wish to tell you that I also have invariably had normal periods. The only signs i've ever had are troubles conceiving, soreness down the entrance of my leg, and decrease again discomfort. I would first advise that you do get a 2nd opinion before finding out what you might cherish to do. I hope this helps!

I think you are brave for wanting to do this at home, w/ no help from the docs. The reason I say that is because I have Endo and I can't function w/out the pain meds on my bad days. I also use a heating pad around the clock on some days. You might try that to help w/ the severe on set of pain.
Good Luck
