You haven't been getting your period, you've been spotting, which is entirely possible during pregnancy.
You need to go to your doctor so you can start getting some prenatal care.
Good luck.

Congratualtions to you, sounds like a little bubba on the way. Hope its the result that you want. The sickness will ease and the pain in the belly was probaby just the implantation. The next 3 months will be the most enjoyable as you will have more energy and oomph !! Good luck and take care x

Are you worried because you have had pains.........periods........been sick ...?? You have your explanation, in that you have found you are pregnant. Thats what happens in pregnancy. Sometimes periods go on for a bit. Sometimes you get awful sickness, but it will stop eventually, (eating a digestive bic as soon as you get /wake up is supposed to help the stomach?!).
Go to your GP so he can refer you to an ante natal clinic, and then you will meet other pregnant girls, and can ask lots questions/get information.

hi i am a student midwife in the uk and firstly if you have had a positive result go to your doctor so he can arrange ante - natal care for you. the bleeding is probably nothing to worry about as others have said, it is probably spotting, this happens when the baby is 'attatching' itself to your womb. the aches and pains are also common as well it may be that your body is adjusting to all the new hormones and changes that come with pregnancy. if the pains have been really bad, it maybe that the baby hasn't attatched itself in the right place, if this is the case you really need to be seen quickly but a dr. - just to reassure you that personally i had monthly spotting up until i was about 5 months prgnant with my daughter and every thing was fine. i wish you all the best for you and you baby. just please go to the doctor. maria x
