It seemed like Bush himself didn't even believe what he was saying. Totally uninspired, totally unconvicing...his tone made it seem like he has just given up. Not too reassuring for a country that is being faced with the deployment of 20,000+ more troops. I'm proud to be Canadian.

No sending troops to Iraq will not solve the problem, we need to get out of the middle east and let the people fight amongst their selves we cannot solve their problems we need to solve the issues we have here, like the rising cost of fuel,the cost of food, createing more jobs for the people,build low cost housing for the poor, creat some type of program to help the people that have no skills that want to work.

No. Not only was the content of his speech ridiculous, but the way it was given was pathetic. When you see clips of Clinton's speeches, or see him giving speeches on TV, you can't even compare them.
