Well chocolates are considered worldwide to be a delicacy.. There are hardly any people who dont eat chocolate or that can say they dont like it...
They come in all sorts of cute shapes and sizes and you can easily pass a message with heart shaped boxes or pieces of it.
They contain lots of sugar and have aphrodisiac qualities therefore are the best way to "turn the heat on"...
And even if she does not want them she is bound to let you have some!!!

It is assumed that girls like presents being showered upon them, and especially chocolates are virtually guaranteed to woo girls. It also implies that you would treat a girl well anyway, and not just give her chocolates because you are cheating on her.
