It's just because they are told that it was great and sexy and god knows what. They are insecure and want a girl who looks a million dollars so that they feel worthy and powerful and respectful, and that other guys can envy him. Same goes for flashy jewelry and sport cars.
I know a bunch of girls who are really, really sexy and confident, and chubby. I am chubby myself, and I actually don't mind. I'm no supermodel, and I don't want to be one, so why should I care? I run, swim, walk a lot, have an active life as much as I can, and try to enjoy every single second of it. So what if i'm not perfectly toned? I like food, and it makes me happy. I enjoy life's little treats, such as chocolates in a chocolate shop near my home, and people say that they fall in love with chocolate just seeing me eat it. With such worshipping, passion and joy.

Enjoying life makes me happy, confident, powerful, and happy. I'm sure that I would look better if i lost 20 pounds, but my life is just perfect as it is. All the guys that I know whose oppinion counts think it is more important then my dress size. My bf thinks so, after all. There's much, much more to a person then looks.

And I can cook a good meal, and have a laugh over what a pig I can be. A hedonist, so why should I care?

You get some hot chubby girls. It's that guys prefer HOT girls (when it comes to looks) obviously, and skinny is the fashion nowadays. Long ago they preferred wobbly women with big bellies, so it's just fashion. And i don't think they prefer skinny, i think the word that you should use is FIT with just a tad of booty. Hey, us gals prefer the same thing so why can't they?

Hey sweety don't sweat about him. I have dated some guys and all of them are into meat. I am not fat mind you or skinny in the same but I am healthy and they love it. I have been told by many many men that they don't like really skinny girls cause they don't tend to eat or anything to stay skinny and when they have sex it's too boney. But a lot of men don't really like well overweight people cause they feel that they have low self esteem and that they have no willpower. Confidence is what a man likes so don't worry he is out there you just have to be patient

They gave their brains over to the media and believe what they are told to think, believe. If the media said skinny was disgusting and chubby was hot, let me tell you...they would love chubby women. Not many people control their own brains anymore. I'm going to start by assuming that you're a chubby girl and that guys don't like you, and you really don't know why guys don't like you. This sounds harsh, but don't take offense.

Right off the bat, I can say that I'm not attracted to you even though I can't see your picture or know anything about you.

The first reason is that you can't even write proper English.

I'm sure that if I saw this sort of stuff on your myspace page, I'd just be like "oh, another one of THOSE girls", and I can totally imagine what your myspace page would look like. Which is not attractive to me.

Next thing, you ask "why don't guys like chubby girls?" but then you say "why judge and be shallow?" (your questions, re-written in English). Well, I actually take offense that you make those the same questions. I don't generally feel physical attraction for fat girls, BUT I do empathize with people who have problems getting perfect bodies, and who have problems even getting ok bodies. I used to be very overweight, and then one day I decided to take action. This was a few years ago -- I went from 250 to about 205 pounds in 6 months, and now I'm at around 185 and still nowhere where I'd like to be. Unfortunately, not all people were made the same way, and theres nothing we can do about it but work harder than those naturally good-looking bitches that make you feel bad about yourself, right?

Anyway, I haven't even answered your question yet.

The reason that guys don't like chubby girls is that they are BIOLOGICALLY wired to look for certain things in women. Its like magic -- they don't know what or why in general (well, we're not stupid, we generally do realize that big **** are attractive to us, and huge bellies generally aren't), but hot girls are just hot, and generally bigger ones aren't.

You shouldn't let this answer sadden you, but it is the truth. But the common theme that I'm finding in real life (I'm just 22 and recently out of college) is that a lot of things in real life are bullshit, and you unfortunately can't easily change the system (in this case the system is the science of what makes people attracted to each other), so you have to understand the system and how to use it. So, go out and start learning about nutrition and health, and make sure you can take care of this part of your life so that you can move on to others (driving the hot guys at school, or wherever, crazy).

By the way, realize that you also need to put your health first. I always assume that people who write like you do (yeah, I'm sooo judging here) are 15-19 year old girls...but anyway -- I was going to say, even though you're young, you do need to take a handle on your health so that you live a long life, regardless of what you look like.

Also, don't get your self-worth based on what other people think about you. Make sure that you know "you da man" and then don't worry about what everyone else says or thinks. Then start making changes to your life so that one day you are the person you want to be, and you have the body that you want to have.

I'd try and simply make you feel better, but you really have to motivate yourself to understand what's up (which I've tried to give you my thoughts on), to decide whether or not there really is something wrong, and finally to do something about it, if there is something that needs to be done.

Males evolved this because the thinner body signalled readiness to become pregnant, which the male needed to carry on his genetics. So it's definately instinctual.
