They'll probably end up sacking you anyway. They'll find some other reason.... Too slow -- shows up late -- not productive enough -- etc.

Why don't you go along to your local Job centre Plus Office and ask them for some advice. You could claim Jobseekers allowance or Income support. They may be able to steer you in the right direction.
As for the the job you have just applied for i wish you all the luck in the world but the employer might not want to employ you...not because you are pregnant...but because you have shown that you were dishonest (by not telling them you were pregnant on the application). It's always better to be truthful about these things. It will be obvious that you are pregnant if you get an interview so the subject will definitely be discussed.
Anyway...Good Luck!

They would be able to see that your pregnant when you go for the interview!
Can't be easy to find a job being pregnant especially at 6mths, so good luck! You may feel you are being disadvantaged but you have to see things from the employers point of view. Consider joining a temp agency
Although legally they not offer you the job because you are pregnant, but they may pick up on something minor why you don't get the job.

Got news for you, they cannot sack you being pregnant and they cannot refuse to hire you because you are pregnant, the company will probably have to hire someone to cover whilst your on Maternity, but since your not eligible for maternity pay from your present employer dont think you should have much of a problem. take it your in the UK

Why don't you try agencies for temporary roles? You would be entitled to maternity leave but not maternity pay from an employer now but you will receive statutory maternity pay directly from the government. Contact your local job centre for advice - they may also have some temporary roles until the baby is born.
Good luck with everything

I think you are really going to struggle to find a job now until after the baby is born. I know it seems really unfair but can you honestly say that you would employ somebody, train them up and and then they leave for several months to have a baby.
I know the law says that they have to consider you, but there are a million reasons for them to find an excuse not to. ( Put yourself in their shoes)
Hope everything goes well with the baby.

In all honesty they probably won't hire you because they'll end up losing money and it's not worth it for them, but you should have told them that you're pregnant. But then if you go for an interview, they'll soon get the message.
I think you'll be struggling now unless you get something temporary.

If you're 6 months pregenat I think it'll notice at the interview! Technically they can't refuse to hire you because you're pregenant - but they can hire some one else and just make up any other excsue for why they didn't hire you.
