I saw a website mentioned somewhere about a week or two back, but never followed it up.
I am not usually the sort of person to grass anyone up.
but, this morning, I was cut up by a driver, who turned out of a side road, onto a main road. he had his indicator going the wrong side, and proceeded to weave in and out of traffic. when I caught up with him at lights, about 3 minutes later, he still had the mobile held to his ear.
I dont usually support the death penalty, but .............

Sue L - I apologise. I thought the act of pulling out from a side road, onto a busy main road, with no regard for traffic conditions, was a bad thing, but you obviously know better. perhaps when you cut people up, you do it in a safe manner

Good luck with this one - but the chances of the Police doing anything are slim. My sister-in-law works with speeding cameras for the police and they don't do anything (in most instances) when the catch drivers out on them.

A close friend was killed by a driver using a mobile - a witness swore that was the case, and records apparently showed the phone was in use at he time of the accident, but this all made no difference in the case against the driver. It's a strange world we live in.

Robbie, in spite of the undeniable fact which you're attempting to do the final suited factor it is real which you will no longer relatively bypass a approaches with reporting this. If a police officer sees a driving force employing a cellular telephone, tells his colleague of what he has purely considered, it is purely the officer who surely observed the offence which could subject the value ticket. meaning he's the only officer in regulation to jot down the info. So it is unquestionably greater efficient with the two officials seeing the offence ensue. A member of the known public who factors this out to an officer interior the line, comparable central applies. that's much greater feeble in case you attend a police station and tell them a while after the offence got here approximately because of the fact the officer replaced into no longer there and did certainly no longer see the offence. There are no longer sufficient components for this, so purely permit the officials checklist whilst they see the offence. it is yet another factor of direction if a collision happens , then the use of a cellular telephone turns into mandatory info ! you will then be a significant witness, or sufferer's fact if that must be the case. officials cease and handle an excellent sort of cellular telephone misuse , yet little could properly be finished approximately it out of your component. in keeping with threat you ought to coach and then communicate approximately site visitors ! Be good, and use your power on something you could exchange. each and all the final.

I sympathize. These drivers drive the worse than learners, no signal lights, erratic speed, makes dangerous decisions, appears in front of you but not knowing what on earth are they doing on the road, and so on.
Drive defensibly, watch out for the pedestrians , keep your blood pressure under control ( it is wasted anger, and your child or dog in the car with you are watching and learning your favorite cuss words while that cell phoned mutant cannot hear you)
I do not know of any websites to report them to.

leave the lad alone, what you observed was liberty, going slightly wrong, as liberty does sometime, when phones first came out they were legal to use , but anybody with half a brain could predict accidents will happen due to phones. the law should have known this but they let everybody carry on till they got used to it, then made them illegal, guarentees the pol a good financial income from the fines, if they made them illegal from the word go, the problem would not exist. you cant give folkd liberty then take it of them and expect it to work.

Well for starters is it even illegal where you live? Even if it is who do you think is going to be able to chase these people down and if they are found it's all your words against theres. I agree that cell phones shouldn't be used while driving. But police have way more importand things to do than try to follow leads from people tattling on cell phone users.
