State reorganisation committee is a committee of legislators,intellectulas and experts to reorganise all states of India into another set of states. The first SRC divided India into different states based on the mother tongue of a state like Gujarat,Tamilnadu,West Bengal etc.. The second SRC is supposed to reorganise states on some other grounds. It postpones the Telangana issue indefinitely.
