Has anybody been to Brussels? the area around the european parliament is a slum, theres rubbish everywhere their roads are a mess etc etc etc. and they expect us to do what they say!!! Wouldnt it be better to NOT BE part of the EU?

I often to Brussels. It all looks pretty well organised to me. You (or your political masters) have made this up.
The European parliament is our voice. We elect the MEPs. If you can't be bothered to vote, stop whinging.
Britain can't survive as an isolated state. We no longer have an empire to ponce off. The choices open to us are to be part of the USA or part of Europe. So bring on Brussels and save us from the empire of darkness.

Brussells is closer to London than London is to a large areas of Britain. Wouldn't it be better if we weren't part of the UK?

your not wrong, its a question of influance, if europe have more influance over our government than the british people. then our governmen is under their control. between 62 and 74% of brits do not want to be dictated to by europe, this means its against our will, and we are colonised by eauropes will. our gov and police are europes occupying forces in britain. we brits have no government.
