Now it wont stop printing this crap. No job in print queue, turned printer of and on, and tryed holding down the amber cancel button all with no luck.

Sounds like its own software has glitched. Clear all waiting to be printed items. Switch it off and disconnect leave it for a few seconds. Do the same with your computer, Note the disconnect!!!
Reconnect and restart and your problem SHOULD clear. Then try your test program. If it prints ok then you may have to sort out your excel to printer configuration or go to HP help and possibly download updates.

Stop ur printer and wait for some time.See in the system tray for the printer icon and double click it. If it is showing any task, delete it by right clicking and selecting Cancel.Once this list is cleared, Switch the printer on and try again.

It shud work nw.

Sounds like a driver problem - first delete all jobs from your print queue, then try finding the correct driver from HP. Or, try the HP Laser-jet Series II driver supplied with Windows (its a basic driver and is compatible with most HP Laser-jets and Ink-jets)

Unplug your printer. Uninstall your printer program. Reinstall your printer program. Plug in your printer. Hit PRINT. Have you tried this? They're touchy. At first I had problems with mine. It has to receive the right information from your computer, and its not. Try this several times. If this doesn't work, your printer is at fault, take it back where you bought it.

Good Luck!!

maybe try going into printers and faxes and make sure your computer is set up for that specific printer. Also possibly my computer.
