I am a computer novice with no-one to help me if my Packard Bell computer goes wrong. Can anyone out there rate this service for me please? I am thinking of 'Pay as you Go' - there is also a subscription charge

if you are a computer novice why do you think you are going to need tech help? If all you are planning to do is surf the net (for now) you should be ok providing you have suitable software in place to protect you when on-line. If you are , say, in the near future planning on setting up a home network , the people you mentioned will more or likely advise yo on their own products, which are not cheap. My advice would be make sure you have anti-spy software installed, and always have your firewall on when surfing even if its only microsoft's own. to see that ... start all progs,, accessories,,system tools,,security centre.
Happy surfing !!
