I am not in favor of it. Here is why. You hear all the time growing up wait for marriage but no one goes into detail. What they don't tell you is this, waiting makes if more special-it gives you a bond between your wife/husband you have with no one else. Every person who didn't wait always recants later with I should have waited. It is suppose to be a gift to each other that you don't give to anyone else. I know it sounds korny but think about it. It makes a lot of sense!

NO to premarital sex. modern and conservative family or not.
just because it's not new - doesn't make it right. Free love - new? now - new generation? You must study the flower children (hippies) of the 1960's? before them were beatniks - late 1950's.
Great reading on the Hippies and Beat Generation. Search it.
Study, read a history of society, generations - there have always been - young, unmarried, pregnant - you can go back 50 years - it's happened in more generations than you know. it's not new.

Yes because girls expect guys to know what they're doing in bed, and we can't do that without having sex. And most of those girls who want us to be the bomb in bed, are the ones who say they like to be virgins because they're so precious. Hypocrites.
For the record, when I had sex for the first time, I was in love, and pretty much saw my first girlfriend as my wife. The sex with my actual wife is always more special than it was with the first girl. So to me, being a virgin when married doesn't make it anymore special. It's the same as believing kissing on valentines day is somehow more special than kissing on any other day. It's all on what you let society program you to believe.

What your friends are doing is completely irresponsible sex. What a great way to catch a FATAL disease(HIV), nevermind pregnant. This "new" generation thing is wrong. This has been going on for eons. It's just now there's ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy and disease.
The one thing you must remember...teenage boys(and older "men"for that matter) will say ANTHING to get in your pants. Be responsible and safe by thinking before doing.

These days people are getting married in their late 20s- early 30s. so premarital sex is kinda inevitable. As long as youre in a loving relationship, you know the risks (babies, Stds) and are prepared for them then go for it.

im not married, and YES i have sex with my partner BUT! it doesnt mean im irresponsible and going to die of aids...Your young friends OBVIOUSLY werent mature enough to be having sex- hence they DIDNT use protection and got knocked up. It has to do with maturity, not whether your married!! But as for abortion, they should seriously think it over and possibly stop being sexually active till they can be mature about i

pre martial sex only exploitation of women. because the ultimate and greater losers are the women in this issue. women can't be so foolish to make prey of themselves to the consequences of pre martial sex. just be conscious about yourself and stay away from such friends.

Just protect yourself and your religious beliefs. I don't see anything wrong with it. I can't imagine marrying a girl then finding out she can't please me in the bed.
