The olympics aren't sexual. It's a contest of who is the best athlete in their field. Special Olympics exist for athletes who, for physical or mental reasons, cannot compete in the challenges offered in the regular olympics. Homosexuality is not a physical or mental ailment, and since it doesn't hamper someone from stiving towards being a great athlete, I don't believe in there should be a special gay olympics.

The gay community does have their own Olympics and has some of the most competitive people in it who could easily compete in regular Olympics and some do.Nothing "special" about it other then that it is an open and welcoming competition.

Why should there be Olympics just for gay people?
Gay people can be in the Olympics because gay Olympians CAN do the same things that non-gay olympians can do.
No matter gay or straight. All Olympians have great physical strength and accomplish great tasks! :-)

There are already such events but they are not called the Olympics anymore due to Copyright issues.
