I don't find it sooo appealing. It's just If there is celebrity that I like I will like seeing her/him in an advert. Or may be because celebrities are more popular, scnadal, glamour and all.

well a celebrity is a celebrated person. so it makes the product more appealing when you know of the celebrity that is using it . it subconciously makes you interested in the advert. x

personally when I see a celebrity advertising something it makes me watch the advert to see what sort of product it is and then I assess how low they have fallen depending on the product

Virtually nothing, particularly if the person is a celebrity just for being well known/famous in some way, rather than having some kind of talent that can be appreciated.

nothing really...it's interesting because my mum's always commenting and asking the same question. she says she doesn't understand why an adult would want to buy an adidas shirt just because david beckham wears it. a child, it's understandable, because they see their hero and automatically want whatever it is they are advertising...but grown adults i just don't get it.

Despite all our claims to think for ourselves, we still feel we need an authoritative figure to tell us what to do. We no longer have respect for government, royalty or religion, so we feel obliged to look up to failed soap stars.

Nothing apart from "hey he must need the money" or "what a loser".
