For the following 2 days after the injection, she asked me to have intercourse, and I have been advised to have HCG injections every 5 days. It's 8 days since intercourse has happenned, I was cramping badly and still am. There was a faint positive on the MPT yesterday...could I be pregnant? or is it the leftover HCG after the injection.

: Intercourse : 3rd and 4th jan
: HCG injection : 7th Jan
: Today : 11th Jan

The hcg will stay in your system for about 14 days after your last injection and you will get false positives on the home tests because of this.
