I dated and married a man with the same name as my brother. We've been together for what seems like forever, and we are very happy together. His name is one that was like the most popular for several years, it was bound to happen. The name is one that can be shortened, so one goes by the given name and the other goes by the shortened name, and the funny thing about that is, that's how it was before he became a member of my family...
My brother and my husband get a long great.
NO issues.

my bf and my brother have the same name. It did cause confusion at Christmas when one of them got one of the other's presents by mistake.

Yes....Both my ex-husband and my brother are named Daniel. We call my brother Danny and my ex made me call him Daniel, even though everyone else in his family called him Danny. Once his sister asked me why I called him Daniel..the whole family wondered why...I never did understand it myself.

I am currently! She is amazing! I like to call her by her first name, it makes things easier! Or I just call her something like, babe, angel, etc :)
