In the fictional TV series 'Commander in Chief' the female president's husband is called 'The First Gentleman'

I Guess this bridge will be crossed in real life if there is a woman elected to the Presidency.

Wouldn't it be Ironic if Bill Clinton became the first 'first Gentleman' after his antics with Monica Lewinsky

Not sure whether the US Govt has considered this as yet as they have never come close to having a female president. I expect Sartoris and Marcus are right and he would be 'The First Gentleman'. I hope it is something I see in my lifetime!

The First Gentleman sounds right...
I prefer the term Mr. Neutered, or....
Arm Decoration General Purpose...
His buddies from high school would
probably call him First Dude or...
Mr. 420 who didn't inhale.

I'd call him the guy who isn't going to win an argument for at least 4 years.

Seriously, He'd be "The First Gentleman".
