The best thing to do when a phone gets wet is to take of the cover or open everything if you can and let it air dry for about 12 to 24 hours. Also when a phone gets wet and it has turned off do not immediately turn it on let it dry out first. If you take the phone to a repair shop if it does not work after being dried off they maybe able to repair it, but do not pay any money unless it is repaired because someone may try to rip you off. Most warrenties are voided when a phone gets wet. I would not advise drying off a phone with a hairdryer.

TAKE the battery out of it right now, towel dry it and let it stand alone apart from the batt for 24 hours. Also dry the battery and let it stand alone with out the charger. It WILL work again. I dropped mine in water last year. It still works
