haha I know it's kind of a dumb question but any kind of pill freaks me out.

Actually, there are risks in taking ANYTHING you haven't tried before. You might be allergic, or have some other kind of reaction from an as-yet unknown condition, or combination with other substances.

Also, keep in mind that supplements and herbal remedies are not as strictly regulated as pharmaceutical companies, quality control and sanitation may not be all that good. Choose a well-established brand you know, or research with people you know, your doctor or pharmacist, and companies like Consumer Reports or the BBB.

And follow the dosing recommendations. Fish oil will definitely give you the runs if you over do it.

Omega 3 fatty acids are very important for your brain and are found in fish oil capsules. I've been taking them for years and never had any side effects, but my body and your body are different. You very well might be allergic to any fish. Maybe try eating a tiny bit of fish and waiting a day or two and increasing that until you'd be intaking as much as a fish oil capsule would include. You don't want to end up in a hospital :(

yes,make sure that they are pharmacutical quality or they might have lead and other heavy metals.
