What do you think about Beckham signing with the MLS? In my opinion, the U.S is trying to promote soccer with him. Also, I think we are sick of the world saying that our soccer sucks!...any opinion about Beckham signing with the MLS (Major League Soccer - U.S).

yeah, thats what you need another washed up star, his never being great, in fact his never being the best in any team his played in so, how do you expect him to light the MLS up?
if he does go to MLS, it's cause no big club wants him. look at it which club wants him, bolton, parma, tottenham, not exactly huge clubs at all.

I think it's great for the U.S.
Beckham brings big exposure to the MLS. It doesn't matter if he's not at the top of his game anymore, he's still at the top of his popularity, and he's still way above average for a player.
I think this is going to be a good thing for American soccer, which continues to slowly but surely gain popularity.

k first, oh course we're trying to promote soccer with him, because our soccer SUCKS get over it. I'm so glad he didn't sign with Houston, cuz i actually kind of like them and he'd just corrupt it all. anyway, good riddence, i only really follow European Football and now i don't have to watch him get all the hype on TV anymore.
