Tunstall would win. She has far better technique and a lot more rage. Melua just seems to wave the knife around like a magic wand, not really sure what to do with it. Tunstall doesn't need any second invitations, she'd just slash Melua to ribbons.
For anyone interested there's a video of her cutting up a heckler at one of her early gigs floating about on youtube.
