there was this guy who used to message me on myspace and call me on my phone A LOT. he was sending me nude pictures and saying really sick sexual things to me. I changed my number and blocked him from aim and everything.
today, he e-mailed me a nude picture to my PERSONAL e-mail address. no one has this e-mail addy except my family and close friends.
i dont know what to do. i know that i should take it to the cops, but how do i go about doing that? who do i call??? thanks

Capture the email header from the message and save it.
Then call your State Police and tell them your story. They will refer you to the correct department, or perhaps the FBI , since this is a Federal Crime as well.

If he is calling you up and he is in anouther state, then it is a federal issue. http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/
That is where you can register your complaint with the FBI. You might want to save copies of the conversations and pitures he sends you and document everything. This will help in the investigation. Before you go through all of this trouble, inform him of what you are going to do. Sometimes just telling someone that you will report them and showing them you know how and where to do it is enough. if he is giving you emails using his personal email then you can FILTER it in your Yahoo Mails preferences. Filter his email addy to be redirected to Trash box. You will not see his email again as it will automatically diverted to trash when he send one.
Go to Options, select Filters in that page, select add in the next page. It asks Filter name, give some name like name of the person whose mails you are going to sort in to separate folder.
Fill up the columns as it applies to you and select in to which folder the messages from that person are to be sent.

Your profile says mother so I assume your a mature woman and not a kid. The police deal very seriously with this type of thing. In Australia we have federal police and I suppose they are like the FBI. I would make my inquiries there. Just remember if he has no success with you he just might with a kid. Report it.

He is surely likes the way you react on such behaviour. Try not to show it. Be patient. Or make something extrasurprisive-start being very-very nice or shock him with something. Only losing his interest or shocking him would work with such a kind of maniac.

i think you should definetely take a copy of everything to the police. DO NOT sit back and think this will stop. sometimes these things escalate.
