Men treat women as second class citizens in some cultures (and did in many other cultures until as recently as the last few decades)... Many women are portrayed in the bible (sorry, don't know about any of the other religious texts) in a bad light... Women used to be FORCED to wear chastity belts (while the man could sow his wild oats)... There is a DEMAND for women to remain "pure" until marriage - and any who don't want to, are shunned or called bad names by (funnily enough) other women in society... Science is starting to show that men may not be needed any longer to procreate (and in many cases are incapable of procreating because of things that lower sperm rates)... And there seems to be (though I could be wrong) an increase in the number of women preferring lesbian relationships over heterosexual...
So, as I ask above ARE MEN ULTIMATELY SCARED OF WOMEN???

Another issue with your statement is that women are called bad names by fellow women if they don't remain pure until marriage. Have you SEEN TV lately? Have you seen the videos, the shows, the commercials that all portray women as nothing more then sexual objects for men?
Don't you have a young child? How are you going to raise him to respect women when you obviously have such a diminished view of them? It seems the only view you like of women is of their backside.
I actually feel a little sorry for you. You like women for one thing, and that's the pleasure they can give you. I don't think you have any clue how to have a friendship with a woman, which goes so beyond the sexual.
As a woman, I'm scared of men like you.

Where did you get this information that men aren't needed anymore? Because if your talking about cloning, good luck degeneration is the biggest problem.
Spontaneous birth? Too few and far between.
You sound young and perhaps it seems that more and more women perfer women over men when most are going through an experimental phase.
As for the answer: Yes. Especially since we humans tend to overcompensate for our mistakes. Women are getting into more and more roles of power and some are abusing this new found power ruining it for the rest of women.

If there are 7 billion people on the planet and approximately half of them are men, then there are approximately 3.5 billion men on the planet. Some men are scared of women - I call those men "immature".
As for myself, I happen to LOVE women - I'm only scared of some of them. I'm scared of more men than I am of women.
Some women were asked why they wanted to keep men around if even they were no longer sexually active. The most common answer was "companionship". It will be a very long time before men are considered "obsolete". You have some interesting ideas, but for the most part they seem to be rooted in things that aren't exactly accurate or complete in their analysis, i.e., you are leaving a lot of information out of your statements. Most women still prefer men, and I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

If they have any intelligence they are. Been married for twenty years and my wife scares me more every day! I found why the changes in life are called MENopause. It's because at that time in your married life, men will, pause before they speak, pause before they come in the house, pause before they buy anything, and pause before they go anywhere!

I don't really think they are scared. I think they treat women as they do everything else in their lives: possesively and brutal, because they don't want to ever lose control.

Men now see that woman are person and just a thing which they own.
