That depends on every person. And that depends on what the sun means to every person. For some it may warm them up the closer they get to it, but for others it may burn them the closer they get.

I may be wrong, but as this is a psychology question, I would take it to mean, in short, is the Sun something to welcome or fear. For example, we're always taught that the Sun is our saviour and the only reason we can survive on Earth is because of the heat that the Sun gives out. If we attempted to near the Sun, however, it would become less of a comfort and more of a threat. We know that Mercury is too hot for us to survive on, and so the Sun would be a threat to us there and metaphorically burn us. At the moment, on Earth, it is our comfort and keeps us warm. It's like anything, the question is: how close is too close for comfort? i.e. can you have too much of a good thing, and here it is clear you can.

As you get nearer to the sun you feel the warmth from it until the nearness is at the point that your body begins to have adverse reaction to the heat.
It is at that point that you are beginning to burn.

the closer you get you burn, the sun is hot, is intense. the closer you get to a hot object the easier it is to burn.

Both. You would get both warmer, in terms of temperature, but your skin would also burn more quickly.
