It is raining here in Plymouth, and we have very strong winds too. I have to go to the doctors with my baby and I don't drive, so I am getting a taxi today! Would much rather stay in but we both have coughs colds, and he has conjunctivitis!

In Yorkshire and at the moment its stopped lashing with rain and blowing a gale, hang on, I swear I saw a bit of blue in the sky, sorry, it was just a old blue carrier bag flying past, get in your car quick and go do the shopping then you can lock the door on the world and its crap weather.

I'm in Manchester and it's absolutely wild! Rain, high winds and very dark. However, I've just come back from supermarket, so you have my sympathies - good luck braving the weather!

The wind seems to have calmed down a bit where I am (Sheffield, UK) but we did have a huge downpour earlier on though and the river where I am is very very high.
