That is an interesting question. I like to think of how a laundry detergent is sold this way. The New and improved catch can be simply the Box itself. With a new opening you use to pour it.
The improved gig sometimes has been having a handle added to the Box to make it seem easier to carry the Box of detergent.
Awh but now days we have the detergent coming in bottles as a liquid..Now that is a bit of a leap in technology. Has a detergent company made one with a Pump that automaticly despenses a measured amount for a load of clothes. New Improved and cutting edge development. might be the next catch phrase for advertisement.

It's 'Marketing / Advertising Speak' - like 'whiter than white' - random words said together that 'sound' as if they mean something good .. don't try to apply 'logic' to this sort of nonsense ...

I always have a bit of a grin when they trot out 'nothing works better' ... how honest to admit their product is so useless that 'nothing' is indeed better :-)

.. and then there's the 'bit of an animal' ... just look at it ... which 'bit' of an animal do YOU think it is ? :-) :-)
