NO NO NO NO NO - Body bleaching uses low caustic Hydroquinone - Basically using the natural bleching action of oxygen. Whereas household bleach often uses sodium hypochlorite. This often has a Ph level of 11 which is very acidic - It uses the chlorine to bleach. The other issue with Chlorine as a bleaching agent is that it often turns things yellow - I had a friend that wanted white hair as it was the fashion in the eighties and tried to use household bleach - It turned his hair canary yellow and made it all dry and brittle and in the end he had to shave it all off. We didn't take the p**s much - honest!!

The other issue with skin bleaching is that with out the specailist application from a salon you won't know how long to leave it on as the bleaching can carry on after you have removed the bleaching agent and the bleach may also spread to other areas that you don't want bleached - thus creating another problem to try and solve.

Please don't be embaressed about visiting a salon - they see hundreds of people that want changes every day and are professional and sensitive when dealing with clients. All the treatments should be conducted in private so no-one will even know why you are there. They may even be able to advise you that you don't need skin bleaching and a different make up may help cover any blemishes you feel you may have.

Hope this helps and good luck !!!

Good luck

No, no,no!!! If you put household bleach anywhere near areas that you're embarrassed for a beauty therapist to see you'd have to get rapidly used to doctors, nurses and all sorts of other professionals poking around down there!!! You may be able to get a DIY body bleaching kit at the chemist, but why not just enjoy you're body as nature intended.

Nooooooo! Do not attempt to use housold bleach, you are likely to cause irrepairable damage to your skin at the very least. There are some personal bleaching products on the market, such as Jolen, but they are nowhere as effective as salon treatments as they have to be as harmless as possible to be sold to the general, unqualified public. You shouldn't be embarrassed about visiting a salon, the people there do this for a living and will have lots of experience dealing with sensitive issues.

household bleach would work... if you want to be hospitalised and probably be thrown into a white room with a straitjacket afterwards. Try reading the warnings on the bleaches label notice it says 'Warning do not allow contact with skin'

NO, you will burn yourself if you use household bleach. If you cant afford professional treatment (which is still not ideal and can lead to serious problems) dont do it;

Tryit if you want, but do not take my advice. If you want to know how to bleach yourself then send Michael Jackson an e-mail.

It's MUCH too harsh. It would only strip off the top layers of skin too. How would you get down far enough to reach the pigmentation? Better spend you efforts on loving yourself as you are. You are worthy of it without having to change yourself.
