How do you get your Sims to get abducted by aliens?

I have The Sims 2 and I don't know how to get my Sim abducted by and alien, can someone please help me?

The ideal time to look is between 7PM and 2AM according to most sources I've read. However as the above poster stated it is highly rare for a Sim to be abducted by aliens, the only way I've seen it happen 'normally' is by playing the 'Curious' family in Strangetown.

However if you're impatient and you want to see it done anyway, you can enter a code that effectively gets you into 'debug' mode.

Hit 'control, shift and C' to bring up the cheat menu bar at the top of the screen then type in 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' Have the Sim you want to be abducted by aliens be the highlighted Sim then hit the 'shift' key and click on the telescope at the same time. You'll see two options come up at that point.

DEBUG-Get Abducted and Force Error. Click the first and your Sim will meander over to the telescope and get abducted. A few Sim hours later, they'll come back and depending on the sex, they'll come back impregnated. (Males being the only ones who get pregnant that way)

To return your game back to normal, repeat the steps up above and then type in 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled false'

If you explore with this code be careful. I hear it can mess up with your game if you hit something wrong. Be safe and have your game paused when you do anything with this code, because I know from experience that I've clicked on the wrong thing before even without this code on.

Look through the telescope when its dark and to a very, very small chance they will get abducted. Any male sim that gets abducted by aliens will become PREGNANT and 3 days later will give birth to a normal sim baby that just looks like an green-skinned alien

As far as I know they have to look through the telescope for a while and eventually they get abducted :)
