Ok, I live in South Africa and the most you will pay for a movie here (which you will pay if you dont have a movie card) is R40 (about 4.44 euros). I have a movie card and therefore only pay R14 (1.5 euro). Tuesdays are usually cheaper though! Ciao :)

In Belgium, it's 7 to 7.50 euros. Students only pay 5.50.
In France about the same price.
In Venezuela, cinema tickets are at half of the price on mondays, but I can't remember how much it was... I think about 5 euros full price and 2.5 half price.

I don't buy snacks at the cinema. I sneak em in... :-)

In Queensland, Australia we have 'cheap movie' nights on Tuesdays when you can see a movie for half price which costs about AUD $7 now. In some suburban cinemas, you can see a movie for as cheap as $5 at any time of the week.

I'm in the states, in Ohio. Its about $9 for an evening show, $6 for a matinee. But it varies where you are the big cities are much more expensive.

I remember at least 6-7 years ago hearing that shows were $10 in New York City, back then and couldn't believe the price!

In the U.S. depends on where you go.
The state I live in the movies that have been at the regular priced cinemas go to a dollar cinema after it stops making a lot of money and new movies come in.
If you go to the cinema in before a certain time it's 6 dollars and after a certain time it's 8.50

It's about US$2.30 for the balcony (its the lower part of the cinema) and US$3.125 for the de luxe (the upper part of the cinema). in Philippine Peso it's Php110 and Php150 respectively. In some cases the local films are much more cheaper as compare to foreign films (American Films).

It's weird though that when there is a film festival they ought to us pay US$1 for the entrance, as far as i know its supposed to be free.

Im from Philippines.
