if i could have interviewed a famous 'dead' person i would love to have interviewed-
leonard rossiter, kenneth williams or t.e. lawrence (lawrence of arabia). both the first two are well known comedians who were great actors but very private people off-set. the last being the famous british major who unified arab tribes and led them in the fight for independence from the ottoman tribes in the 1920's.
