The U.S. would win. The United States also has a lot of strong allies. Don't be fooled. The only war we ever lost was Vietnam. we are much better prepared now. Russia, syria, and Iran all will use under handed tricks to try and pull support for themselves. Iran already has a ton of nuclear weapons out there which they are concealing. Russia has always tried to fool people especially with their weak government. Russia wouldn't waste their time fighting the United States. They are built up to try and destroy Israel. Iran wouldn't waste their time on the U.S. either. They are hell bent against Israel. Lebanon and Syria are too weak to get involved in a war.

America isn't ready to fight another war, because we don't have the resources anymore and Bush has put this country in such debt, that there is no way we will be able to pay the money back for Afghanistan and Iraq!

Our men and women are spent and Dumbuya has left this country so weak and vulnerable, I doubt we could even win a war against Haiti!!

I guess I can't see what the US has to gain in the first place by occupying another foreign land. That being said, what exactly would constitute a win?

This is another conflict that will resemble Viet-Nam and Iraq. They dn't have to win the war, they just have to not loose. As long as they can keep us from overrunning them then I guess that would be a win of sorts. That concept has been used many times in world history(including the revolutionary war of the American criminals) and has proven to be effective in maintaining power at home.

None of them will win as they have different tactics which are all dangerous. they will continue inflicting psychological, physical and emotional damage on each other. You cannot will guerrilla warfare with conventional means and you cannot fight conventional wars with guerrilla tactics. The terrorist factor is alive in that region and they are not bound by any international convention neither do they have anything to lose. So they don't care about anything you do or whatever damage you inflict on them as they are so called martyrs. dangerous phenomenon. With Russia heavily supporting Iran and Iran supporting the AlQaeda and other terrorist organisations, you can bet on a confused state of affairs. Russia still wants to get even with the West on dismantling their war machines and their ideologies. Do not be mistaken. So watch out for Russia. They are everywhere and even in North Korea.
