I've just started to read the manga and found it to be interesting. at first i thought Raito/Kira is doing ok, but eventually he seems to be turning evil.

Well im on no one's side now. But if this was asked before vol. 7 came out in english. Then it would have to be L.

L cuz he's yummy! But the first Kira isn't doing very much wrong, just handing out punishment, but later Kira will kill just for money and status. L's got it all worked out.

Yeah. Kira is turning evil. But I believe that the world is indeed a rotten mess. So, Kira is my ally.

Kira aka Light, because he's a genius and evil.
we usually watch how good guys runs the show but a bad guy runs the show so i guess deathnote is a little bit different with other japanese anime.

definitely L. Though Light had a good enough reason in the beginning but then he turned... well... CRAZY. and nobody has the right to take the life of another. even if they killed people killing them makes you just as bad! and whats the point if they are already in death row? make them suffer by giving them a cell with "big Benny" till there day finally comes!

definitely kira!! i mean how many main character have u ever seen that's good looking (*^-^*), cool and .... evil? it's nice to have a main character that's not such a goody two shoes for a change... hehe
