a cv is a european version of a resume. pretty much the same but has your picture and a slightly different format. you can find an example online.

It's to write down your experiances and past jobs, to see if you are a suitable candidate for a job. CV stands for Cirriculum Vitae (I think its spelled like that lol), and it's extremely important!
