If you're trying to get pregnant, of course there's a chance you may be. If you're too scared to take the test now, give it some time and see if you get your period late or not. A month or two. Knowing later wouldn't really make much of a difference.
As for actually taking the test, be strong. I'm sure it's saddening every time it comes up with a negative, but just imagine what it would be like if it came up positive. I think it's worth it, honey.

Also, if it's been years in the trying, and if you've got your heart set on having a baby (and it sounds like you do), you might consider other options. You may have already, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Good luck, and I hope that someday you're able to cradle your own bundle in your arms. :)

There is a possibility that your pregnant if you been trying for it. As far as the pregnancy tests go, if you were to do 1 today, the chances of it saying your pregnant are slim for no other reason than its to early to tell. I would say wait about a week or so and if you still havent had your period take 1 then. I know that pregnancy tests can be scary things and trust me i know that the results can be upsetting but if your not getting your period its got to be done. If your test come back positive, make an appointment with your doctor just so they can confirm it through a blood test. Also when your there, tell them about the achy feeling you've been getting.
I really hope for you that it is a positive result, by the sounds of things you would be over the moon if you were pregnant. Good Luck!

If it is any consolation, my friend's parents had to try for like, 5 years I think it was, before they had him. I've heard that some women have eggs with much more difficult... sides? to get through, so it's harder to conceive. Don't give up hope! You may want to go see a doctor and see what could be going on, that way even if you do worry, at least you're worrying with some knowledge, instead of just helplessless worrying, yanno? Wait maybe another week or two before taking a test, that way if you are pregnant, the signs have a chance to show ^_^ good luck!
