Is there a way to change the password? Or maybe better recover it somehow and someway?

i have now put a new password and it works now. but after setting the router to factory default my computer in my room that links to an ethernet router that links to my adsl modem has problems after setting the router to factory default. i open network connections and Local Area Connection is connedted but the "Internet Gateway" is Disabled. I tried to enable it then a small window comes up, it says Connecting then after like 10seconds it says Connection Failed! help me please someone

You will need to reset the modem back to factory default and get back in that way.

Have you tried the defaults like admin administrator etc?

Unplug the router\moem and hold down the reset buttom for 1 minute. This will set your device(s) to there factory default.

try typing 192.168.1.1 in your browser. This is the common router address, but it might be 192.168.2.1, 192.168.0.1, etc. It will open up your routers homepage, and you can navigate to the "Wireless Security" tab to see what you set the password as.

find yourself a credible hacker or in this case a cracker and have them do a war drive crack for you. I can do one in roughly 5 minutes on a fully secure WEP 128mb or WPA encrypted network. look it up on google, or as others have mentioned, reset your router if it is in fact yours. but id recommend what i just mentioned if it isnt yours.

click the reset on your wireless router it will restore the default options

Ha ha so you did not write it down...well just clear the modem an start over or call your IP

uninstall wireless hub and reinstall and create a new password.

type: http://192.168.1.1 in explorer, and go to securities, there u can find your password, it will be in alpha-numaric.
