These past couple of years, Princeton has beaten Harvard for undergrad. But remember, Harvard has the longer history of being number one.
The average person is going to assume Harvard is number 1 cuz they're not going to check the rankings every single year.

Depends on the year - the two school have recently traded the position of number one many times over the last 10 years. However, Harvard has the longer history.

Depends on the field of study, for science I might stick with Princeton.
