First of all, don't be afraid that your mom will scold you. If you talk with her about it first, and even get her involved, then I wouldn't think she would be upset. Most mothers tend to be upset when their little girls emerge from their bedrooms one day with layers of glob on their face. It's a little bit of a shock, you know?

I suggest you mention to her that since you're growing up now, you would like to try some basic makeup to improve your skin appearance. What most mothers DON'T want is their daughters going out and putting on an inch of eyeliner and bright red lipstick. So start with something very very neutral, like simply foundation and some mascara.

Brighten your skin? Go to a makeup shop of your choice and have a professional help you choose a shade of foundation that is slightly lighter than your natural skin color. When you apply foundation, rub it in small circular motions until it's completely blended into your skin. There's nothing worse than realizing you've been walking around all day with foundation stains discoloring your face. Make sure you blend the lines along your chin, most women miss this area.

I also suggest trying some light mascara. Mascara really opens up your face and makes your eyes look bigger and more mature. If you want to, you can also try some nice eyeshadow. Since you are just beginning to wear makeup, try and stay away from drastic colors like bright blue or hot pink. I suggest a soft pink or nice light brown one. Definitely try a brown, since most light browns out there have a shimmery quality which makes your eyelids a little sparkly...

Just remember that your mom will only scold you if she feels you are taking it overboard. So talk to her first, and mention that you would like her help trying on makeup. She'll be much happier if she feels involved in your decision to start becoming a blossoming teenage girl. :)

Hope this helped,
L

Use any scrub often.... or u may even use lemon juice, glycerin n rose water mix in equal proportion ...in winters only... or u can even change the proportion of glycerin if u r oily skin then less glycerin if dry the equal proportion will do... apply this in the night after washing ur face... u will see the difference in a week

Wash your face with facial cleaner.

Use a nice shade of cheek blusher, something pinkish-tanish, golden-sunish... put it mostly on your high cheek bones, then spread it around (only lightly) on the other parts of your cheek, forehead and chin...

Put eyeliner inside your eyes (not too dark), and put some labello on your lips...

perfect look for school... i guess :)

hey u! i'm a professional make-up artist, so i would suggest u use blusher on ur cheeks as well as above your eyebrows. only a little above the eyebrows!! that way it looks alot more natural. no foundation! just make sure it is a light colour blusher that goes well with your skin.
